Jewelry For Women

It was a Christmas gift for my wife Floride in 1995 that started the jewelry collection. Now you can see it in 50 or so of the finest jewelry retailers in the U.S. and Canada.

Like my sculpture, each jewelry design is of or about a bird, and each starts with a piece of wood and a sharp blade. Some designs strive for a particular artistic element, while others emerge while a sculpture is in progress.

The newest items are the Covey Necklace, shown below, and the Dove Pendant. If you are new to the collection and not sure what to get, it is impossible to go wrong with the Wide Feather Earrings, below.

Enjoy!

Beauty in Motion
I have been told that portrait artists do "hand studies" because getting the hand and its movement is most difficult and important to portraying the individual. It seems that Grainger McKoy has done a wing study and from that has come his "feather ensemble." It too is important to portray the individual and captures the beauty in the motion of the feather. I too was captured immediately. Thank you Grainger.
